Planning a Turbo Training Workout


There are numerous ways of designing an turbo training session. Things to consider are the amount of effort, the duration of the session, the complexity of the changes in resistance/cadence etc..

There are numerous examples of turbo training sessions available in books and on the internet. In fact there are so many that it becomes rather confusing as to what you should be doing.

  1. warm-up – physically and mentally, focus
  2. main session
  3. cool-down
  4. stretching
  5. recovery – drink and food

High Intensity Training

HIT (High Intensity Training) and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) are popular workouts but they’re very demanding and not always enjoyable.
